Kaffee Eis Courtenay Place — Restaurant in North Island

I needed to share. Picture this... It's Monday morning, the air is thick with the dread of your usual morning pile of work to do. What disasters await? I decided to unusually start with a coffee before tackling things, but with no coffee in the office where would I go? The warm lit windows of Kaffee Eis beckoned and the smiles of the team as I entered lit the room even more. A vanilla latte takeaway was my order. I resign myself to adding flavour to mask whatever terrible thing they were about to do to coffee (plus honestly I love sweet lattes). They made it super fast and holding it I left feeling the warmth of the cup ease the Monday dread. Then I sipped. Oh god... What did I just taste? I went back again. My eyes rolled back in my head with the pure delight of waves of perfect coffee dancing on my tongue. I nearly swore it was so good. Hot velvety smooth and sweet. Bless you guys. Wow! I love ice cream, I’d consider myself an authority on good ice cream. This is amazing ice cream. I’m always apprehensive on well rated ice cream shops as people tend to rant and rave over the most mediocre of local places; however, this is not the case with Kaffe Eis.

The single thing I could say negative about it is the store is small and if you wanted to sit and enjoy your ice cream you might not be able to. However, the Ice cream itself is worth it. Creamy, amazing flavors, it tastes fresh and delicious and the yoghurt flavors are delicious and you can really taste the tartness of the yoghurt. This is without a doubt the best ice creamery I’ve been to in New Zealand. And the price is very reasonable. My hat’s off to them. Go here! You won’t be...

I have anxiety so it's kinda my fault.. But tonight I ordered a half litre with 4 flavours which I spelt out to the guy twice because he seemed confused.. I ended up getting a 1 litre with two flavours, and a half litre with two flavours. I didn't see him making them until it was too late as we were chatting and I wasn't watching his every move. I felt bad because he seemed new but I was too scared after like 20 people came in and they were busy. I tried telling him but he didn't hear me over the people so I did what any other upset, anxiety fueled person would do... I transferred the money and got out as fast as I could. Our freezer doesn't work properly so now I have to eat it all tonight or...
