FJ Noodles and Dumplings — Restaurant in North Island

The drink was advertised as Buy 1 Get 1 Free for $4, but when I tried to order 2 Coke Zeros, it kept showing $8 for two. I also tried ordering Sprite instead just incase it worked but it still didn’t so I ordered one sprite for $4 and wrote in the special instructions to replace the Sprite with two Coke Zeros.

However, only one Coke Zero was delivered. When I contacted the store, they yelled at me, saying it was either a DoorDash system error or my fault, and refused to take responsibility. It could have been a DoorDash system issue but they shouldn’t have dealt with it like this.

If they had sent a Sprite instead of Coke Zero, I could have let it slide but why ignore the “2” I clearly wrote in the instructions if you saw it while sending the correct drink?

On top of that, the food was not good.

This was the worst Chinese restaurant I’ve ever eaten at. Most Chinese places in Wellington are pretty good, but I tried two dishes here and both were terrible. From the buffet menu, I ordered the crispy chicken, but it wasn’t crispy at all and it was extremely hard and chewy, which hurt my teeth. The taste was also bad. I also ordered the spicy fried rice, but it was so oily that I could hardly eat it.

They shouted at me and tell me to ask for a refund via doordash if I can.I definitely won’t be eating here again. This was my first order from this restaurant, and I found their behavior...

I don't know what happened, but I am confused. I ordered the "Chinese Buffet" on Uber Eats but what arrived is anything but a "buffet". For context, here's the excerpt from the menu: "contains many types of dishes, including hot dishes, such as braised pork and other home-cooked dishes; cold dishes, such as cold cucumbers, etc.; There are also soups, staple foods, fruits, desserts, etc. Ingredients and cooking methods from different regions come together to provide a wide range of choices."

I was delivered a bowl container that had about 5 pieces of fried chicken (?), topped with blatently frozen and defrosted egg foo young, which was disgusting, alongside another container of rice, and another containing what I think is custard tarts.

The bag it came in has my name on it, so I know it's not a mistaken order. I don't understand where things went so wrong, especially when I've had good food from...

10 out of 10 indigestions recommend this food.... as this is the closest experience you are going to have to HELL. Please believe the reviews and dont go in here, dont make the same mistake I did and and save your money & time. They took more than 45 min to bring our food (dumplings and chicken fried rice), there were ppl already waiting for an hour... Veggie dumplings were the worst we ever tried, by far. Almost empty but the filling was defrosted and dry 👎 The chicken fried rice, they simply forgot about it, and after 45 min I saw the guy going to the kitchen with some steamed rice to prepare it. It was unedible...oily, burnt, filthy 👎 They were also taking uber eats orders, I just don't know how!!? They are clearly understaffed and take forever, but the payments...they take...
