I was very disappointed with how awful the bouncers treated me there as of yesterday 05/07/25. While there was definitely other people there that were clearly intoxicated, I was randomly asked to leave while I was going up to the bar buying my 2nd drink there and told me that the manager told him that the manager believes I have been drinking too much I kindly asked him if he could get the manager or escort me over to him which he did and I asked and explained to him what happened why am I being randomly asked to leave he sounded confused and surprised and said the security are concerned that I am intoxicated and that I had to leave. So even though the bouncer said the manager no longer wants me back in the bar the manager suddenly tells me the bouncers were the ones that wanted me out. I was actually getting suspicious myself if whoever that manger was, if he was the actual manager and if he wasn't then those bouncers needs to be sacked immediately.

So to whoever the manager really is if you are reading this you need to sort this out immediately and sack the bouncer that forced me to leave but if you were really the manager I spoke to last night, that was absolutely shocking how I was asked to leave with no evidence of me being intoxicated especially with others being there that were clearly intoxicated even way more than I was even though I wasn't drunk and the fact the bouncer said you made the decision that you wanted me gone while you seemed to have no idea what happened and said the bouncer was the one that wanted me out. You definitely caused some problems to me and my group but thankfully we did find another bar with friendly staff and security. Used to love going to this bar. I have been living in Australia for a few years now but back when I grew up in Wellington I was often coming to this bar and the service, food and drinks were always amazing.

However last week I came back to Wellington for couple of days with a few friends and was always raving how awesome this bar was and that we had to come here during the weekend unfortunately as soon as we approached the bouncers they immediately questioned us how much we have been drinking. We all only had one drink before entering we did manage to get in but was strange how they originaly thought we were intoxicated while others were clearly showing that they were intoxicated even though they were never questioned but anyway as soon as we went to order our first drink at the bar another bouncer immediately approached us and asked us to leave because he reckoned some of us in the group were intoxicated.

I am absolutely disappointed what that bar has turned into now and telling all my friends how awesome this bar was and how friendly the staff were for them only to find out how awful their bouncers are just causally choosing who they want out we were clearly not intoxicated even though others at that bar were definitely intoxicated while the bouncers did nothing to them.
