WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. When we walked in we were a big group so it was appreciated that they arranged us to sit down, but if they weren't able to feed that many people at that time and was busy they could have said so.
However the main problem for us was not the waiting time it was the quality and portion of the food, and the lack of efficiency from the managment. We ordered biriyani's and there was little to absolutely no pieces of meat. when the biriyani's was brought out it was a very small portion, when we addressed this to the server, they told us that there were sizes but there was no information about this on the menu.
But despite all that the biggest problem was the service. We weren't expecting a 5 star service ofcourse how ever the lack of service to our table was uncalled for. Our whole group rarely was given any tissues and had to share, not just that our glasses of water was never refilled. We tried to ask for water many times to any server around but was only met with backs and no acknowledgment.
We had children under the age of 5 who were also very thirsty and the amount of times we asked for water was ridiculous. I understand that the resturant may have been busy but it couldn't have been that hard to bring atleast two jugs of water. we were so fed up that we went up and asked for a refill but it was never happend.
Overall we were so disappointed with the food and the service provided, I believe if your paying a good price to eat you also deserve atleast the bare minimum service, but we got none. When we went to address these issues the lady at the counter was so rude and disrespectful and stomped off, when the manager arrived we addressed the issue again but more than excepting the complaint and understanding where we were coming from, we got no apology and was told by the Manager that if we were to return again he wouldn't serve us.
Firstly after the food and service we received, I wouldn't think I'd ever go back, it seems that the manager/owner lacks professionalism and couldn't take any ounce of criticism. It is evident in the reply of the reviews of the owner which held alot of racism. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AT...

Upon arrival, the absence of cutlery immediately set a disappointing tone for the evening. The service further deteriorated as we encountered a shortage of staff, leading to disorganized and unwelcoming service. It was evident that the staff welcomed guests without having a clear understanding of their capabilities, resulting in a lack of efficiency.
The crux of my dissatisfaction lies in the quality and quantity of the food. We ordered three chicken biriyanis, expecting a reasonable portion size and a well-distributed amount of chicken. To our dismay, each biryani varied significantly in size, containing just one piece of chicken. This inconsistency not only compromised the integrity of the dish but also left us feeling misled.
Furthermore, we ordered naan cut into small bites, for which we were charged an additional $4. The exorbitant charge for such a basic request was both surprising and disappointing. Additionally, no water was served at the table despite multiple requests, demonstrating a lack of attention to customer needs.
When I approached the cashier to express my concerns, the response I received was utterly unprofessional. Both the owner and the cashier raised their voices, creating a scene in front of other customers. The cashier's threat that they would refuse to serve us on any subsequent visits was particularly offensive and entirely uncalled for.
This entire experience has left me profoundly dissatisfied, marking it as the worst dining experience I have had in my 15 years in New Zealand. Having traveled extensively and dined in numerous countries, this stands out as the lowest point in my culinary experience.
I feel compelled to share my encounter as a cautionary tale for potential patrons. The issues I encountered extended beyond mere incompetence; they bordered on rudeness and racism, which is unacceptable in any...
