It is McDonald's, what do you expect?
Golden arches gleamed so bright, A beacon in the fading light. The menu, simple, short, and sweet, A place where everyone would meet. No fancy wraps, no endless fries, Just simple food for hungry eyes. And at the heart of all that bliss, The humble hamburger's tender kiss. A paper wrap, so thin and white, Held secrets of a sheer delight. The sesame bun, a perfect dome, A welcome sight to lead you home. A patty thin, yet full of grace, Found its rightful, happy place. Griddled 'til it sizzled low, A flavor that would ebb and flow. The pickle slices, crisp and green, The finest ones you've ever seen. A dash of mustard, sharp and gold, A tale of flavor to unfold. A smear of ketchup, ruby red, On that soft, inviting bed. And onions, chopped with mindful hand, The best in all the fast-food land. No towering piles of extra cheese, Just simple things to truly please. No special sauce, a gooey mess, Just pure and utter happiness. One bite, and memories would flood, A simple, satisfying, humble food. It wasn't gourmet, sleek, or grand, Just joy you'd hold within your hand. A nickel more for one to go, A happy, cheap and simple show. A quick exchange, a friendly face, A timeless, warm, and happy place. The soda, served in paper cups, Was full of bubbly, happy sips. And every taste, a gentle hum, Of all the joy that was to come. Oh, simple days of golden past, A fleeting memory built to last. Of happy meals and childhood dreams, By sunlit, sweet and flowing streams. The hamburger, a humble king, The simple song it used to sing. Before the world grew fast and complex, And life threw out its hard-to-solve tests. So raise a glass, or better yet, A paper cup, for what we met. That simple burger, pure and grand, The taste of youth in every hand. A timeless memory, clear and bold, Of stories we can still be told. A taste of home, a gentle plea, For what a simple...
Read moreVery bad service. I went into the walk-in area at the front entrance around about 12.30am wanting to make an order. I was ignored by several staff members who werenât even busy and were playing on their phones. They definitely knew I was there waiting but continued to ignore me. After 15 mins of waiting I was eventually shouted at by a very rude and patronising young woman that they were only accepting orders from the drive-through. During the prior 15 mins of waiting I also witnessed the same woman verbally abuse someone through the drive-through window and laugh at them with her co-worker. After she told me drive-through only, a man came and quite rudely slammed the door shut on me as I was leaving. I donât understand the point of keeping the walk-in area open if they arenât going to be accepting walk-in orders. They have the staff to serve customers and make the business money, but appear too lazy to do so. Management needs to be aware of this. This is not the first time this has happened, but it will definitely be the last time as I will not be...
Read moreWent through drivethrough today, girl at the counter made everything into a combo to 'make it cheaper' but didn't end up receiving the drinks that come with that combo? although looked like they were made and put under the counter? Most likely for the staff to sip on as I've seen 'unclaimed food' slipped under this area before đ most likely a scam so they can eat on shift whilst not paying for there own food. Not just that but I heard staff here in the past have had problems with theft of food so wouldn't be surprised. On top of all that asked for 10 chicken nuggets and didn't receive which is weird because when she repeated the order she said chicken nuggets. Must not have been eligible for all the combos she made up randomly lol. Just wanted the food I asked for, so in future don't make meals into combos because it honestly didn't benefit me and just made your job confusing hence why you missed out the chicken nuggets aye. Probably lost well over $100 here in the past from food not received. Always get a receipt...
