Greek deli choices but now they've stopped free tasting because people were abusing the service but tasting a lot but not buying much. That's s shame the tasting of some different cheeses was what attracted me.
Updating review. Visited on 23 Dec and tasting is back again. That might not be a good thing since I tasted more choices and bought more 😜. Still go to place for dried meats and imported cheese
Visited again March 2021. Now they have a brunch menu including a monster Reuben sandwich. That would serve two easily. It's a great sandwich but perhaps my only criticism is the vogel's bread is a bit thin to hold all the pastrami. Perhaps a thicker roll would be a better vehicle to hold all the fillings. But...

One of them had a sticker on that said 'dated price special' or something to that effect, but I just assumed it meant that its nearing its expiry date. That item was more than a month over and the others were a couple of weeks over, with the rest of my items all expiring within the next couple of weeks. The biltong and droëwors tastes yummy though, but I won't drive all the way here for other products. Staff are all lovely...

You'll probably be offered a free coffee when you go in and can taste biltong, cheeses and probably most other things in the deli. Another nice touch is you get the option of paper bags at checkout. There are only a few downsides to the shop. The main one is that it can get quite busy and the aisles are quite narrow so it can be difficult to move around.
