This was my first visit and won't be the last - the welcome, the space, the coffee (absolutely delicious), the Jean's bakery options, the playlist, and the service were all 10/10. The coffee was Ethiopian Kochere Station - exceptional! And with this first class coffee, an almond croissant. Now I'm a snob when it comes to almond croissants and Jean's has all the right factors - crunch, light and flaky pastry, not sickly sweet like so many make them, and oven heated perfectly. While I was waiting my food, there was two guys sitting at the bench, chatting. One of them suddenly walked into the âstaff areaâ, I supposed he is one of the staff?
He grabbed slices of brownish food from a paper bag, and put the food in the shelf... actually a tongs was just sitting in the shelf. But I clearly seen he wasnât wear gloves, just with his bare hands and didnât even wash his hands...
Told the staff to reheat the food when I ordered the sandwich, he didnât. Probably too busy chatting with his colleagues.
