Wendy's Hamburgers — Restaurant in North Island

To many this is just another Wendy’s but to me and my fellow friends this is our safe place, came here on a school trip and was genuinely overwhelmed with the heart warming atmosphere and impeccable service, the lighting the music the prices the staff the seats the decor all of it is absolutely sensational and don’t even get me started on the fabulous free wifi that supports TikTok like an absolute beast, the AC was maintained at an ideal 21 degrees for ultimate comfort, I would also like to note the fabulous fire engine red they have accented around the establishment, this type of thought and style is so welcoming, and if that wasn’t enough, we were greeted but the most radiant smile from the one and only Marlene who was an astonishing asset to this company she was attentive and kind and knew her job like the back of her hand, this experience was amazing please world take care of the excellent staff and beautiful establishment. This has happened quite a lot, almost every time I go to Wendy's. The experience is lovely when you open the door and smell the food BUT when you step in the line and ask for your food ngl customer service could be 100 times better. When there is usually 5-6 staff members working, one person is on till, 3 people on fries, one person on the drive thru (which rarely is used might I add), one cleaner, and another staff member not doing anything, a couple of customers in the queue plus me, I would like to have my food warm and perfectly made, seasoned etc. if they take a long time. Not only customer service is slacking but the workers themselves look like they are doing nothing. I also would prefer not to eat food that has been made without gloves. This is shocking service for the price of the food that I am paying these workers who don't greet you...

Paid around $70 for food at Wendy’s even paid for extra mayo When I ate into the Baconator burger the burger was dry and little to no mayo after paying for extra mayo on both burgers. Went up to the counter and asked for extra mayo and was met with a rude employee/manager saying that I couldn’t get any more mayo because that’s all they can do but why have the option to pay for extra mayo if you aren’t going to put it in the burger?

Overall I won’t be returning to Wendy’s Rotorua on Fairy Springs road. Burger + meals were dry, Over priced food, Workers were rude and just had a bad experience overall. I would not recommend this...
