If you are looking for a nice place to have some drink and catch up with your friends, this is a good place for having some food and alcohol or tea.

Meals are smaller portion, not a proper meal. You have to order a few items to get full. End up pay more than get one meal.

Food were good, I found a bit salty. But good quality and really good fast service. Staff was Very tentative and helpful.

Order green tea, was expecting Japanese green tea but got Korean tea instead. A bit Strange.

However, very cute shop with Japanese decoration. Because hope is small and open kitchen, when you came out you smell so smoky. Your hair and clothes smell like BBQ.

Toilets were very clean but creepy hallway, dark and feel like in scary movie lol.

Floor is. A bit sticky though. Probably from all the smoke from kitchen.

Dined here a few weeks ago on a Monday night. We ordered 4 dishes at once as the dishes are tapa style and we were sharing the different tastes,all dishes came out at the same time.Food was delicious, fresh and appealing. There was a steady flow of diners in and out with no delays or problems with dishes coming to the table. We had a young Japanese home stay student with us who was extremely homesick and spoke limited english,our waitress was smily and friendly and went above and beyond to try and make our night an enjoyable one,even going to another business near by and returning with a lovely ex staff member who spoke more fluent japanese than she did to try and comfort and make our homestay feel less homesick,very impressed with the thoughtfulness. I went to this restaurant a few months back and completely loved the taste and the vibe. We got chicken Yaki Udon, karage chicken etc., and it was on-point. Flash forward to today, I was very excited to have food here again. Tonight we ordered spicy chicken ($10.5), yaki udon ($11) and Tsukune and cheese ($8.5). The spicy chicken was the first disappointment - not spicy and horrendous quantity even for $10. And the yaki udon (disgraceful quantity this time as compared to my first visit) was just slided onto our table from the chef in a very rude manner , I wouldn't serve anyone like that. However, I will say Tsukune and cheese (chicken meatballs) were satisfactory. Conclusion - Very disappointed after tonight's service and would probably visit other Japanese...
