Tokyo House Restaurant — Restaurant in Otago

Atmosphere was pretty, cups were relatively dirty. The food however was pretty poor, considering I spent 18.50 for tempura udon which didn’t have any flavour and the shrimp had a soggy bath. Chashu wasn’t chasu at all and tasted very salty, sweet, and almost msg like. Very small portion in a very large bowl, but edible. Don’t recommend it personally, just go to any other Japanese resturant or Harrys Kitchen...

I ordered from Tokyo House through DeliverEasy. My order included two types of ramen, tuna sushi, and takoyaki. The ramen was alright, but not the best. However, there were two errors with the order. First, instead of takoyaki, I received fried tofu instead. Second, I the Tokyo Ramen was supposed to include an egg, but no egg was included. Probably...

Sadly not a good experience tonight. I had the satay vegetables and the sauce was super super sweet- more like caramel than satay - and not a hint of peanut at all. I had to add salt and chilli to balance it out but the dish was just too sweet to redeem. My partner had teriyaki vegetables and also super sweet. Good amount of vegetables but 0/10...
