Put through a take away order to pickup. I get there and they had canceled the order. I still needed dinner as it was already quite late so I ordered, their food is usually fantastic. But it was terribly inconvenient to order again and have to wait even longer because of their mistake. All they said was sorry for the miscommunication. Nothing else to rectify the situation. I'm disappointed in their service tonight. The paid thai was not to their normal level, the tomyum was fantastic.
Also on top of that I have been charged twice. Yet to confirm in the morning to see if the transactions resolve.
So not the best experience with them.
**Reply to their message: Hello. To clarify your reply. I didn't say the soups too expensive and then hang up, that is rude behaviour. I was taken back by how much it totaled then clarified the price of both items and said ok we will do that. And said see you soon. So when I turned up I was surprised that it was canceled. Ryan comes to greet. I say I'm here to pick up my order pad thai and Tom yum soup medium. He's like ooooh I thought it was canceled because you said you canceled the order. I had not said on the phone that I'd canceled the order. Then i left because im on a clock to deliver an order to a customer and only had a small window to pick up dinner to feed my child, which is why then i called back to order again, so yes that ment more time from point of first ordering till receiving the order.. So ofcourse i am not happy with the negligence, as when one orders food you expect it to be ready by a certain time. And now your reply to my review... your story has changed yet again. I am not impressed with how you have handled this situation. Regarding the double charge. It has been resolved, so no issues there. This has been one of the worst experiences from...
Read moreJust got wanton soup for dinner tonight as takeaway but gone to waste as it was SUPER spicy that made my nose runny. I phoned them and I asked the lady on the phone if the wanton soup was supposed to be spicy. The lady said it should be mildly spicy as it is sprinkled with pepper. I told the lady that it didnt have the chilli sign on the menu so I didnt expect it to be spicy and I am pretty sure it wasnt just pepper sprinkled. I was told that next time I should just say mild spicy when I order. (SERIOUSLY?? WHEN YOU SHOULD BE ASKING CUSTOMERS HOW THEY WANT THEIR FOOD/SOUP LIKE??)
I do love spices and eat spicy food if I feel like it. I know the taste difference between spicy and pepper sprinkled food/soup but this wonton soup is waaaaaay too spicy from all the wonton soup i ever had....
Read moreFirst and last visit to Bangkok Thai for us Aussies! I am sick from eating their food for dinner last night (seafood Tom Ka soup and BBQ chicken). This was our experience - closed sign was still on door, no customers inside, no soap in either of the bathrooms, wallpaper coming off walls, the restaurant furniture looked like it had been collected from someone's rubbish collection, then if that wasn't enough to pack us running out the door before our entree and mains arrived 30mins later, l received a piece of metal sourer in my BBQ chicken. A free coke doesn't make up for the vomit and crook gut. Appalling standards NZ, not just here but many other places around town. These places would be shut down...
