I spent almost $200 for the uber eats order from this restaurant and there were missing meals from my order when I received it. When I call the restaurant, they told me the missing meals were still with them since the manager admitted that they had a new staff who made a mistake. The manager asked me to report this problem to uber eats, get a refund and re order my booking in order for me to receive my missing meals.
I think this is unfair for me and uber eats because this mistake came from this restaurant, and I believe that I should be entitled to some sort of compensation. Also on top of that, I think the price of the food is overpriced and not worth the received portion. I may have voted 1 star but if I could vote 0 stars, I definitely would.
This is after your replied on my review:
Please be honest on what you said to me over the phone vs of what you replied to my review. The idea of refund was when you asked me to get it through Uber Eats. You didn’t promise me to deliver the food instead asked me to get refund from Uber Eats and asked me to reorder the same food again.
Overpriced what i meant was the price wasn’t reflecting the portion of the food. I don’t mind to spend more than $200 or more as that’s what I always spend...
Read moreLet me start by saying, the food's great, waiting service is okay, but the interior, overall cleanliness and seating are a bit sub-par. That said, why did they lose 2 more stars? False advertising and attitude. When I found out (post-meal) that they had advertised on their Facebook page that they had a deal going for 15% off, I naturally asked the staff for a refund of this amount, and this is where I got the angry Pakistani/Indian lady stereotype giving me the "that's online orders only", not that that makes more sense, but instead of calmly explaining, you get the 'its our money now!' type of response. Then when I pointed out that their Facebook page didn't say anything about online-only, showing her the article where it clearly states "Enjoy 15%off! On all orders." She got even more indignant. At this point I figured I could argue my point, or let them keep the $20 or so dollars they so desperately want to throw an otherwise pleasant experience out the door with. So enjoy the $20, Darbar, its the last you'll ever get from this family. And do something about your snarky staff members, they do more damage than any mislead advert you've got. Ps, I kept a copy of that deal in case anyone wants to try...
Read moreWe preordered our meals for our group but when we got there, we were seated at the reserved tables and then they bought out menus. We explained that we had pre ordered. First meals didnt start arriving at our table for 50 minutes. The last meal was delivered after 1 hour and 20 minutes (and that one should probably have been the fastest as it was a wrap - essentially like a kebab!). The naan bread that was provided was hit or miss...some bits were very dry and some were ok but nothing special to write home about. My meal (lamb dumpukth) was nice, though small. The spices were very tasty and the meat was tender. The salad that it comes with was on a communual plate and so was the naan. You cannot buy alcohol here - due to religious reasons I assume. My friends dumplings were rubbery. Another friend ordered a drink that never came and there was no one to ask about it as they were seemingly busy. Some meals that were supposed to have boneless chicken had bones. We had to remind the server that some of the dishes were supposed to come with rice. There was no music playing so the atmosphere was a bit lacking. The server was unapologetic when asked why the service was so slow. She said she had just...
