McDonald's Princess Street — Restaurant in Palmerston North

Visiting from out of town ordered from the kiosk and had to wait 30 mins for our order whilst they prioritised the uber orders over in store customers, we spent approx $50 for the misfortune, they missed my 4 Yr old grandaughters happy meal and it took 4 people to read my receipt before They took a extra 10 mins to fetch it, scowling at me for even pointing out their error.. Like how dare I. there was rubbish spilling out of every rubbish bin and every table was filthy. We opted to sit at the edge of the mc cafe counter which wasn't clean either. I was in the position that I could see coffee spilled all over the floor behind the counter and dirty cups on the floor which staff had been kicking on their way past. There was noone cleaning up at all.. This was appalling, I've visited many Mcdonald restaurants over the years and have never come across such a disgusting state of a store. Someone needs to go in and give the place a good shake up and review how they process the delivery orders, retrain the staff on customer service cleanliness and hygiene, it's not OK for them to scratch their hair or faces whilst preparing food. And goodness wear a hat or hairnet. Seriously a health inspection needs to be done. I'll never visit this store nor recommend it. The place is a total disgrace to the New Zealand McDonald's franchise. No stars for this...

Typical McDonald's food. However this place is incredibly slow at making food. I ordered a Big Mac large combo. It took over 15 minutes for it to be ready. What was infuriating, there was no attempt to produce orders in order. At one point a big Mac was given to someone that ordered after me. They simply look see order needed one, but never looked to see if there was another order that also needed one.

Bathroom was OK, not great, but not bad. The bug issue was the music was turned up way too loud. You couldn't hear anyone without screaming. Poor guy was try to say something to his child. Child couldn't understand despite guy screaming. It was so loud as to be painful.

Said something to employee about it. He seemed to know was an issue, but acted like oh well. He promptly turned around and went back to working orders. Never said...

Placed an order in the drive through and had park up due to how busy they were. This is fine. Two other vehicles were waiting for orders. One of the staff came out and gave me an order and one to the car beside me. Upon checking the order, it turns out the this was not my order, it was for the car beside me. The order they had was not mine either. This was for someone else waiting. Lucky I didn't just drive off with it. While waiting for my actual order to arrive, another car parked up and then got their food before me. Went into the store and talked to the staff who couldn't find my order. Eventually I got the food. When I got home I discovered that the quarter pounder had no onion on it so was just a big cheese burger. The lack of care from the staff as to which order goes to what car is unacceptable. So...
