Reveiwing again because apparently the first time didn't work. This time i had to wait 19 minutes for my online order that was supposed to be ready at 6:21pm by the time i left with order in hand it was 6:40 pm. After the last review i left i thought things would have improved but no it has gotten worse it went from a over 10 minute wait last time to almost double that. Slack, slack slack is all i can say and whats worse is i watched my order sit on a heating tray for 10 minutes knowing full well they could have given it to me and the stuff were well aware i was waiting for that order as i had come i on time stating i had an online order, the staff stated it would be 5 mins which turned in to 19.
Hot food ❌️ Fast food ❌️ Customer service ❌️ Would i recommend ❌️
I would suggest spending your hard earned money elsewhere and putting it to better use. If you like fast, hot food key word here being fast go somewhere else. I hardly ever get food from burger fuel and this was my third time at this one. 3rd times a charm and they still got it wrong. I.e. this isn't the first time its happened. The term "fast food" doesn't apply to burger fuel. Food was cold and damp by the time i got it and had remains of what looked to be another burgers contents (beetroot) to which my order doesn't come with. I Waited more than 10 mins to pick up my meal that i had ordered via online. I arrived 5 mins after the pickup time only to be told it would be 2 mins this i would have been ok with. However I then waited a further 8 minutes for my order to then be bought out to me. Meaning i had to wait 10 mins for a cold meal. What was worse is it had been sitting there since before i walked in, as i watched the staff member grab a bag and proceed to place the burgers in said bag after having been sitting in the warmer that had been there since before i arrived. The facility had little if few diners eating but i did notice there was atleast 3 people still waiting for orders ahead of me. I provided the complaint to burger fuel and the reply was to the effect of. We will make our staff aware at this particular store to try and forwarn customers of any delays. We are sorry you had to wait aslong as you did. Sorry doesn't undo paying for bad customer service. An apology doesn't stop it from happening to the next customer. Delays dont bring back customers they turn customers towards the competition mccas, burger king etc. Cold food doesn't bring thoughts like i want this...
Read moreDISSAPOINTING! I ordered a double American muscle burger with the extra BBQ sauce & bacon. The bacon was dry / hard & flavourless. It was like it had been on the grill for ages, dryed out and was an afterthought of that'll do for this burger & how many more I wonder?? I paid $28.00 for this including a bottle of fanta! I initially called in to make a complaint about it after a few days as I thought that this isn't good enough. I spoke to a woman manager their & told her of my experience as I said I'd rather ring the shop than leave a bad review. She said she'd get the owner or something to that effect?, well it was someone else to call me back to resolve it & to date I have heard nothing. Hence the bad review!!! I would advise anyone if you are not 100% satisfied with your meal to complain at the time & get it resovled their & then as it won't be followed up if you call in to complain. You'll just be another after thought! Their cooking knowledge / skills are lackadaisical & their customer service has no substance like their dry / hard bacon. We have many beautiful / varied eateries in Palmerston North. You are welcome. Enjoy : ) Oh Burgerfuel & if you take my review seriously then I will consider your establishment decent enough to have dinner with you & I will promply take down...
Read moreBEWARE! Burger Fuel has really good burgers, but the staff are trained to manipulate you in to spending more money. For example, they will ask you, 'would you like an egg or bacon with that?' You're pretty hungry, so you're thinking that its great to have this choice, so you choose bacon. The tricky bit is that they don't tell you it costs extra, right down to the barbeque sauce they trick you in to adding. I'm on to this trick, but tonight my brother spent an extra $6 adding barbeque sauce, onion rings and bacon to his Single American Muscle. What's more is that the cost of these items aren't listed individually on the receipt, which is even more deceptive. It literally just looks like the Single American Muscle cost $15.90 and had these items on it. I have a photo of the receipt, but can't seem to add it. Regardless, this is stealing and is not acceptable. This is a clearly deceptive and high-speed tactic, and Burger Fuels around NZ are grabbing extra cash from all their customers for adding things to their bill that they didn't know they actually wanted. This is an overseas tactic, no? In this respect, Burger Fuel in Palmerston North is not the worst or least offender, but happened to be the one that ripped my brother off. Still rate the burgers, but...
