Pizza Hut Palmerston North Broadway — Restaurant in Palmerston North

Ordered online at 5.20pm for pickup at 5.35pm(time advised by Pizza Hut), arrived 5 minutes early and was told my order was 5 minutes away, no problem ....20 minutes later the order was ready with one pizza having sat on the bench for a good 10 minutes and cold. After the damn pizza had been paraded around half the staff with the lid open, the manager said they’d make me a new one.....not much of a choice given how long the original order had taken. But it doesn’t end there, no, after getting the pizzas back to my motel, the XL double pepperoni topping was about 30mm shy of the edge, wasn’t cut through and was so sloppily made, some slices had heaps of topping, other hardly any.... the other pizza was inedible..... all in all, not a good Pizza Hut at all and given the other feedback, I’m surprised management hasn’t done anything to monitor the store and fix...

I only buy pizza here for one reason ( I’m relatively broke and running late feeding the kids after work ) last time I ordered I was told my order would be ready in 20 minutes, it took over an hour. When you buy “fast food” as a convenience it needs to be fast ish . It wasn’t and the staff / owners need to be more organised and honest with wait times. I don’t mind waiting for a specified time ( give or take ) but I don’t appreciate being mislead , my time is worth more than the order , an hour of my life makes a relatively cheap meal expensive. I haven’t been back and it will take a serious lapse of self worth or memory fade fir me to do so. There are better run pizza joints in town that may be further away but are still much faster overall . Two stars...

Our last couple orders have been fine, not amazing but average enough to satisfy a craving for pizza. However today they forgot to give the driver our drink, and one of our pizzas was inedible, an excessive amount of cheese had been added (and I love cheese so usually don’t complain if there’s some extra.) but this made the base inedible due to being extremely undercooked. Requested double Mayo, pizza came COVERED in Mayo, couldn’t even see the toppings. Took it back to the store after they FAILED to pick up their phone. If I wanted to drive I would have got a pickup order. Staff argued that the pizza was fine and after a huge hassle finally got the pizza remade, only slightly better.
