LaLaLand Wanaka — Restaurant in South Island

I came in a while ago while holidaying and the thought of this place still makes me seethe. Ok place but the staff ruin it. We came in on a quiet night, the patrons hanging around the bar were either staff with a night off or friends of the working bar staff. It was hard to get served as we were largely ignored while they - a Canadian or American girl working in particular - were more interested in hanging out with their mates, including the apparent manager. Great list of cocktails ..cover charge went to a good cause. DJ on the night i went was a train wreck . wasnt even actually mixing anything just playing songs on serato and poorly fading in other songs while a bunch of his mates stood around the booth trying to choose the next song.
