Pizza Pizza Wanaka — Local services in South Island

We placed our order and we’re told we had a 30min wait which was fine; that worked in with our plans after dinner of going to a movie. When we went up to collect our pizza were told our meal wasn’t ready and was told it would be another 15-20mins. Went up again after 20mins only to be told it would be another 10mins. Our meal ended up being just over 30mins late from the initial time quote and we had only 5mins to quickly consume the pizza.

The pizza was pretty average for a $30 pizza to top it all off.

I would not recommend this place if you have somewhere to be after or eager to eat anytime soon.

Not sure what the other reviews were meaning from wet pizza. I watched the chef work the oven and he definitely knew what he was doing: Great chew on the crust, crispy on the edges, and just the right amount of char.

The Tandoori chicken pizza was really good. Pleasantly surprised with real pieces of chicken breast on the pizza and not some processed chicken product.

Fantastic discovery while holidaying in Wanaka! One block back from lakefront is a outdoor food court kinda. Food "trucks " permanently sited in this cool park. Picnic tables. Umbrellas, lights, and some grassy areas to sit, including small waterfall. Lovely atmosphere with several food options to pick from. We has 2 woodfired pizzas, both delicious , could choose from fried chicken, Mexican, east Asian, sushi and burgers. They all looked great. Would definitely...
