Located lakeside on the Lakeside Road end of the lake, this park has a playground with a dinosaur as a slide. There is a large parking lot beside it so it is easy to get to. As Wanaka isn't too big it is also walkable in case the parking lot is full. Large grassy area as well as lots of other things in the playground. There is a BBQ area around the back as well as many mosaics around the trees on the lake end of the park. The hand monument is also closeby.

The min we arrived in wanaka my daughter seen the huge dinosaur slide and demanded to go there. She loved it that was the biggest slide she's ever been on. Nice and clean. Would definitely go back next time in area. I can't quite remember but I think my only concern would of been wasn't completely fenced off on one side by carpark which could be dangerous.
