we went here just hopping for a nice cheap dinner and got so much more. the service was lovely, we got a great seat by the windows, it was warm and i haven’t even started talking about the food. the food was incredible. i would have paid double the price for what we got. we had the fried chicken and the savoury pancake to start and it was insanely goood. the chicken was juicy and crispy, the sauce matched it perfectly and the little carrot salad thing was amazing and so fresh. for our mains we had the 5 spice chicken (the most delicious chicken i’ve ever eaten, hands down, i didn’t even want to share it!) and my partner had the braised pork and egg it is was amazing. just fell apart in your mouth and he said the broth was the best he’s ever had!!! PS this is the boyfriend i had a phenomenal time i could t believe how nice the staff was and the food was honestly such an amazing price the service was so fast and incredible and they would try and keep the customers as happy as possible without badgering them! i could not tell you how many people i am going to recommend this place to and i want to say thank you to the world and staff for doing such an amazing Job. I ordered the Hue Spicy Beef Noodle soup. Based on the pictures I saw and the reviews given, I thought that it was going to be pretty stacked with ingredients. Instead, it had four pieces of flavorless beef, one small piece of the ham "loaf", and a very small portion of noodles. The broth was okay, but nothing special. Also, apparently they only have one small dish of spicy pepper sauce because the one they gave me was almost scraped clean, and when another couple came in and wanted the sauce, they took it from my table and gave it to them. not impressed. When you ask for a banquet for 2 at $55.00 and when came time to pay it suddenly became $110.00 that is a rip off. Also in the banquet meal we couldn't get the Beef meal so they gave us chicken, when we inquired about the seafood part arriving we were told we had to make a choice of the Beef (which ended up chicken as no beef left) or the seafood. None of this was explained. Asked for a bottle of wine they came out with 2 glass of wine we said no we anted a bottle of wine, he came back with the bottle and opened it at our table, again we were charged for the 2 extra glasses for wine.
