Exceptional service, unmatched beans. Came in this morning to ask for recommendations, and was met with friendly and helpful suggestions about each available roast. After choosing a bag of the light Unwind and mid Traverse, they put my short black on the house! The short black was made expertly - bold, no sharpness, with a great mouth feel and complex flavour (anyone who drinks short blacks knows it's always a gamble!) Sitting down with a cup of Unwind now and its smooth notes of caramel and chocolate just hit the spot. I would highly recommend Strictly if you're after some quality beans, friendly and approachable staff, and relaxing atmosphere. And especially if you're looking to branch out into some new blends and enjoy some of the best coffee Dunedin...

Hands down BEST Roastery and Cafe in and around Dunedin, still have failed to find a better coffee than the ones produced here. Recommend 100%. It's a shame the flavour syrups are not available anymore however :( Lovely and friendly team, always feel more than welcomed when I walk in and even out, leaving me with a positive feeling from them. Great coffee! I buy their Guatemala beans. I've been making coffee on my Vibiemme at home for 20 years, and this is the best coffee I've had.
