Sultan's Authentic Turkish Cuisine & Kebabs/Grill — Restaurant in South Island

We ordered a lamb kebab, a chicken and falafel kebab, and some chips. The lamb kebab should be renamed a lettuce kebab as it was 95+% lettuce. I couldn’t even taste the lamb. It really was poor. The pieces of chicken tasted nice enough but once again, 95+% lettuce. The chips were somewhat undercooked and over seasoned. The aioli tasted cheap and vinegary. The young lady working there was very friendly and helpful, which was the best thing about the place. Thanks to her.

Don’t waste your money, go elsewhere for a kebab that doesn’t just taste...

Look we love Kebab. We have eat them around the world. Today we ordered 2 large kebabs in Richmond NZ. They don't have to call it Large. Maybe bigger then a small one. Delicious Iskandar (kebabs on a base of rice, with fresh vegetables, kebabs and sauces). Both the fresh lamb and chicken were well marinated before grilled on the rotating spit. Full of flavour and moist.

The Turkish coffee was just right. Not too full of coffee powder that each sip gets coffee grains.
