Mani's Butter Chicken — Restaurant in Te Hiku Community

I actually really enjoyed this place.

Come here while being up north I ordered the butter chicken & the garlic and cheese naan.

My mother in law ordered the Fried Rice & the Sweet & Sour Pork.

Butter Chicken: Was soooo good. Creamy & not to sweet. & the rice was cooked to perfection. Light & fluffy. Was also a really good serving. Fed me, my 2yr old daughter & my 9yr old son with some left over. The garlic & cheese naan was also yummy. Right amount of cheese & garlic. Nice and crispy.

Fried Rice: Was ok. A little bland and way to much mixed vege.

Sweet & Sour Pork: Was really really good. One of the best ove ever had. Pork was cooked well & the batter was also very crispy. The sauce was just amazing and topped the dish off very well.

Deffs go back of we are ever in Kaitaia again....

Manis butter chicken is a good place to get authentic Indian food.. speciality of this shop is that you will get tasty Indian food for reasonable price. Try this shop and you will be amazed with the taste. This is a takeaway shop and has 6 seats, which allows you to have yummy hot indian food. It has public parking space available right infront of the shop as it is located in the commerce street. This shop closes around 2100, you can order your food till 2030.must appreciate the customer service too, friendly staff. Good place to have tasty...

Not happy with the mild butter chicken, brought 2 Large Butter Chicken I had high expectations considering the Overrated Reviews..
