China Castle — Restaurant in Upper Harbour

One of the worst places to dine in, everything is way too over priced, they give you as if it's fine dining. It's Korean Chinese food, it doesn't cost that much to make and yet they charge a lot. If you are going to go in, get small for everything otherwise you will be paying $43 for a large dish and get a portion of a small to medium. I gave it two stars, because the food is actually decent, it's actually well done. However, the amount they give you is a little too extreme for the price they want you to pay. Therefore, a two star at best. People left and right were complaining, but people do still come just cause it taste good. Everything else it's the worst.

Edit: Response to owner. When did I compare the your price with Korea? So, you telling me that your owner worked long hours so that's they have the right to have bad service? Other Korean Chinese places are way cheaper than yours... so just work on...

This restaurant is always just an alternative to other ones closed when I want to have Chinese food because I was disappointed a lot with the very small amount of sweat and sour pork from a set for 2 people of a takeaway. Would say to the owner that it's better not to include the sweat and sour pork to the set in order not to confuse customers who expect a little more amount. That was a very small pieces of them. Posibly the best Korean-Chinese style restaurante in NZ! I have tried many similar style restaurants in Korea as well as in NZ, but the food here are by far the best and even better than the ones I've tried in Korea. The spicy Jjambbong and black noodles are incompareble to any that I've tried elsewhere. On top of that, the food portion was huge too! Definately a must-visit place.
