I met this really attractive worker whos number I really want and I must say that my experience left me thoroughly impressed. As an avid tea enthusiast, I am always on the lookout for exceptional tea shops, and Gong Cha Albany exceeded my expectations in every aspect.

the customer service is really unprofessional and disappointed, it's early morning when the shop just open, the staff supposes to be full of energy and happy, I work at retail as well and deeply know how your emotion could affect your customer and business, nobody like black face. I said "morning!" to the girl, thought I could cherry her up if she was not happy. However, she did not give me any responds and straightly asked:' what you want?' this was totally not the way you serve your customer. Please don't come to work if you are not ready and not in mood. Nobody deserves such negative attitude. People talk, it totally ruined the reputation of the business, I feel sorry for the company. Actually, the situation is not just happened today, it's been a while already. we love the drinks from gong cha, but no one wants to go to the shop. From my opinion, the manager seriously needs to do something to improve it, I don't think this kind of service deserve any star, but I have to mark one otherwise can't post my common, hahaha! hopefully to see the better service next time. thanks for the time.

The counter staff Named ARA today was so rude with such a bad attitude. There is no self service ordering system at Albany store so I had to order at the counter as I understand normally the store has long queue but it didn’t give me the option to order myself . ARA asked me if I want sugar or ice and I said no sugar so I missed the ice part . She got so impatient and starring and yelled at me : “how much ice do you want ?! “ . I was so shocked and couldn’t believe that I got yelled at just because I didn’t hear her properly.

not every customer understand how the tea making process works at Gong Cha and the way that she treated me like I’m a fool? I always order my ice tea at Newmarket’s self services machine which is awesome as it’s not only save staff’s time and also I can avoid confusion & conflict like today .

I was standing there &watch her afterwards and she didn’t smile at any customers with any greetings.
