First time in a Starbucks as I am not a coffee drinker. But, I was lucky enough to be gifted a $20 STARBUCKS GIFT card.
I arrived at the Albany Mall Starbucks on Saturday 20th May at 1:56pm to a bit of a line. With my email from Starbucks at the ready.
Finally, at the front of the line - the young guy serving me (not listening to me or paying attention) was told multiple times. That, I would like 4 x muffin's - from memory they were $4.70 and repeatedly he kept getting this wrong.
Finally, time to pay and I was advised by a female employee that I couldn't use my voucher. Without, downloading the 'Starbucks app' even after explaining. I will likely never use the app again.
I then moved to the side and 35mins of setting up a profile and entering all my details. Then trying to activate my voucher via the app had meant the line had since grown stretching out the door.
So, I approached the staff member - she had originally asked me to 'download the app' 10mins more and she offered to " do it the old fashioned way" and to my surprise just entered my details at the till manually.
Sigh.... You mean all that time! and you could've just done that.
45mins later ... I was handed the muffin's. I proceed to leave. Thankfully, checking the bag. I had been charged for 4 and recieved 3
So, again I go back -the original male server finding the muffin still sitting on the back counter. He just - forgot. By which point after 1 hour of trying to redeem a $20 gift voucher. Which no longer felt like a gift 😞 I hated everything about my first experience.
The muffin's weren't...

Read moreA couple weeks ago, I went to Starbucks at the Albany Mall, early in the morning and I bought over 12 drinks. I parked on the facilities managed by Parking Enforcement Services. I left the facilities. Later that afternoon, I came back to the Albany Mall, to complete some extra shopping. It was also a short time. Shockingly, the dishonest and rackeetering company Parking Enforcement Services, put a ticket on my vehicle because the individual being paid minimum wage to distribute tickets, couldn't be bothered to check and assumed that I was parked at the Mall for hours at the time. Now they have accessed my private information and I am being harrased (never mind that I have already paid the ticket because I have no time to argue with dishonest companies) Anyway, it is shocking that Starbucks doesn't stand for its customers. You are my favorite store and coffe shop, I used to visit your shop pretty much daily and buy your drinks for any corporate events. On the weekends, I love having a Starbucks drink at your store in Browns Bay Never again. Being harrased my Parking Enforcement Services has been stressful. Now the Starbucks brand is...
