I am writing to bring to your attention a deeply concerning incident that occurred during my recent visit to your café.I experienced an unsettling and discriminatory encounter with one of your staff members, an Asian lady working as Front of House and Barista. I was taken aback by the extremely impatient and cold demeanor she exhibited towards me. It became evident that her behavior was not only unprofessional but also rooted in racial bias.What is particularly distressing is the stark contrast in her treatment between myself and another individual present – a person with a Western appearance. Despite my attempts to engage with her politely, I was met with rudeness and a lack of attention. In sharp contrast, she displayed remarkable patience, exceptional service, and a warm smile when attending to my friend. I believe in promoting an inclusive and welcoming environment for all customers, irrespective of their background. Had the salmon bagel , not to keen on it as I realized I don't enjoy the hard chewy bagel but the salmon and avo was fresh the spinach scone was great , the cabinet food looks great and tastes good and great portions , however I found that the staff didn't listen to my order brought out the wrong scone and also specifically asked for an extra hit drink and it came to the table luke warm, there were also no salt and pepper on the table I could not leave the table as I had a disabled client at the table .The tables can do with a good wipe down some sticky residue from the previous people. Be aware of parking you cannot park on the opposite side of road at the shops or they will tow you so have to be in the main road or if you lucky in the cafes parking but often no parking here. Eggs on toast? More like eggs on plate! Came in at 1:45pm and was looking for the menu but couldn’t find it anywhere. Asked Staff because we couldn’t find it only to find out they had hidden it because the kitchen was closing in fifteen minutes. We had asked if we could still order which they replied yes to and ordered poached eggs on toast. Took them five minutes to make and my god it was the most pathetic meal I’ve ever laid my eyes on! Presentation was awful! Couldn’t even spend two extra seconds adding some sort of garnish or something to make the $14 I spent worth it.
