This restaurant is highly recommended for those looking to enjoy a relaxed lunch or dinner with a group of friends or family. The menu offers a variety of options, including Korean fried chicken, hot noodle soups, rice dishes, and more.
I visited this restaurant with a group of friends for a special celebration. We had a wonderful time in a spacious room with a large table that comfortably seated all six of us. We ordered their specialty menu, which included White Jjamppong (백짬뽕) and Sweet and Spicy Fried Chicken (깐풍기), along with two beers. Additionally, we tried the Spicy Pork Bone Rice Balls (오돌뼈 주먹밥).
The Sweet and Spicy Fried Chicken was crispy, delicious, and mildly spicy. The White Jjamppong, served in a large portion perfect for 3-4 people, was packed with fresh vegetables and mussels, and the soup had a rich, savoury flavour. The Spicy Pork Bone Rice Balls were great with the flying fish roe adding a delightful pop of texture. The seasoned pork filling was flavourful and complemented the rice perfectly, but you should be a little careful before you order it because the pork did include tiny pork cartilages you may not like.
The restaurant itself was spacious, which was especially appreciated on a windy day. Although we didn’t have many drinks, this place is also ideal for enjoying a variety of beverages. If you're looking for a spot to gather with a group and savour authentic Korean cuisine, I highly recommend...
Read moreStumbled across this little cafe quite by accident while searching for caffeine to get us up the coast after making it across the bridge. Initially just going to do a quick travel mug fill and run but after a squiz at the menu was intrigued by the options not normally seen. So ordered eggy meals and cuppa tea each. What was delivered did not disappoint. First the teas - they always come on a little service board and as pots. I had the citron tea (it comes in a mug with a pot of hot water and base 'jam' so there is enough for 2 good size cups). Our food was also delightfully presented. Hashbrown control - golden and crispy! Alas our first visit did attract the 15% PH surcharge being Easter Monday however this was soothed by the gift of an easter bunny (which despite being accidently left in my pants pocket for a period did not melt instantly with my body heat = good chocolate content & a tasty treat later that day). We stopped by again on our return trip from the Northlands - this time trying a little pistachio 'mousse' cake treat - very cute with a mild favour profile. I have the loyalty card ... I think it is very likely that we'll be back next time we find ourselves on that side...
Read moreReally liked the food and deco there, worker and owner was nice. BUT be aware the parking there, company runs the parking enforcement is absolutely scam. Firstly, only 30mins parking allowed (way short for a lunch or dinner). secondly, I have validated the number plate when i went into the cafe, it states we get 3 hour free parking, we only had lunch stayed 50 mins, and gone. but next day parking company slapped me with breach notice of $65, I wrote to them they claimed my validation not done properly, and threatened me next time they will uphold the ticket.. what a load of BS, they just wanted to ticket you and hope you would take it and pay, absolutely scam. I don't understand how landlord would allow this to happen, to ticket a paying customer, you are losing business by doing this. no wonder the car park was mostly empty.. but the people at Nab cafe was so nice, he printed out my receipts which I don't normally keep once I paid. food was also nice. I wish they could get ride of this scammer smart compliance management. I will be back again, but not...
