Pita Pit Albany William Pickering — Restaurant in Upper Harbour

I've been a regular here for the past 3 years (usually 3 times per week) and the food and staff have always been excellent. I'm not sure if there has been a change in ownership since coming out of lockdown but the quality of the Pitas have gone downhill. I hate to pin it on the new staff, who are nice and friendly but it's the only option. Good quantity-wise, just bland...and twice in a row I ordered cheese in my online order and got none, and the kumura wasn't cooked properly. Suspect it's a simple case of the makers not tending to eat...

Can't help but agree with the recent poor reviews. I've been here about 8 times in the last few months and have had some very mixed service. I complained about one poor pita to then be offered a free one which was just as bad! Incorrect order (even though the order was written down) and ridiculously small for an $11.90 pita (see photo). The people making these obviously don't know how well the other branches in Albany serve the very same food items. Superbly consistent! I'll be staying away from this...

I ordered the vegan mezze bowl from Bowl'd via UberEATS. Worst $16.50 spent of my life!!! The cauliflower was absolutely raw, uncooked like the rest of the veggies, the bowl had no dressing - no hummus or mayo and there was probably half a teaspoon of avocado.
