BurgerFuel Ponsonby — Restaurant in Waitematā

Hi, so I would like to leave my comments on this. I did come to Burger fuel in Ponsonby on the 15th

We ordered two burgers we were two people We could see since we entered at 8:45. The staff was definitely not happy seeing us. We understand it not being busy. They must have wanted to shut.

I ordered for two burgers and fries. We sat to sit over there. We were not informed that the place is going to be shut. They pack the burgers and give it to us stating we are shutting down and made us leave. This was very disrespectful Hospitality I have worked as a chef for seven years myself

As part of the service you are supposed to inform that you are shutting down early they were pretty disrespectful about it. They were three people one girl and two chefs.

Also, the bastard Burger did not have any avocados or any tomatoes at all

So after being pushed out and kicked out in directly going home and having it was very dissatisfying

I am a regular at the Burger of fuel in Parnell Their service and food and quality and everything else is unmatchable

Appalling service from some of the staff at this Burgerfuel. Have been going here regularly over the last couple years and the last few times we've been the staff have been alright but always screw up at least one item on the order, and food takes ages. Last night's was by far the worst.

Screwed up one of the orders, when I told them and returned the extra item they gave by mistake they tried to fix it but screwed that up and brought the whole order again (so 2x same order but both with something wrong), when we told them that we already got our food the guy (maori fella) bringing the food got all s**ty, sarcastic and aggressive, and behaved like he wanted to fight. Shocking customer service. Then to top it off, one of the other chicken burgers were raw.

The rest of the staff were apologetic and tried to fix it so no issues with the rest of the staff but overall the standard at this Burgerfuel needs to be raised as it's by far not the first time we've been disappointed. However I will say that normally the food has been good (when it does arrive and if you get what you ordered).

Don't think we'll be returning here...

Absolute shocking service on 2 January. Came in with three friends at 3.25pm. I only ordered Motorbites, whilst the others ordered a burger and fries each. 25 minutes later, one burger comes out. 45 minutes in, the other two burgers came out, slopped on the plate so that they both fell apart straight away. Standard service is 10-15 minutes. It wasn't busy but I heard two other people complain about the ridiculous wait. Eventually when we asked 40 minutes in, we were given no explanation for the wait and said they would check on it. I had to be asked by a staff member what I'd ordered. An hour later, I received the one small thing I'd asked for. We were given two motorbites vouchers we can only use at Burgerfuel Ponsonby between four of us. I thought it deserved a refund. Unfortunately the only person who was helpful was the staff member who just started near the end of this mess and was apologetic. There were about 5-6 people working and I could hear chatting in the kitchen almost the whole time we were waiting/ Would not visit again. Burgerfuel Parnell are Six-star in comparison...
