Shame of Ponsonby

The most incompetent service I've experienced in Auckland lately. We came through on Sunday night. The place was busy as it's obviously one of the hottest spots in Ponsonby area. The stuff was straight up very neutral as they didn't really care for any new customers. We were a large group and two of us ordered 2 x fish and Chips. 40 minutes past and whole group received their meals except us. I came up to chat with a blonde waitress. I was wondering "we all ordered same time - everyone got their food but us". She didn't show any remorse nor understanding and replied "ah it's OK!! Yours will come in 6 min". 20 minutes passed - I approached a guy waiter, who yelled at me saying they got only one chief. At this point we were waiting for our 2 x miserable fish&chips for on hour. I replied "well this is something a customer should be warned about when they placing the order". Long wait is ok as long as we are told and prepared for this. After getting yelled up by a waiter we set down and waited for another 10 min. Nothing happened. We got refund and went to Ponsanby central. Our 4 x dishes came out literally in 15min there. No incompetent staff and a loveliest atmosphere...

BLATENT DISCRIMINATION OF DISABILITY!! Upsetting experience where a doorman mistakenly mistook my brother's limp as being drunk. It was explained that he has early onset Parkinson's disease, however this man just kept saying "I would not know that, and I won't change my mind!" He acted like an ignorant discriminative person on a power trip. We gave up and left to go to a more welcoming place. As we left the doorman called out "I hope you fall over!" 😡 Disgusting behaviour! Friends went for drinks and ordered fish chips for me and my friend 40 minutes came our other friends had their pizza and chips. The other tables had theirs as well. Followed up 3 times and made us feel we should be ashamed asking. Other people with us waiting for us to get our ordered for someone to argue with us that we just have to wait. Kept waiting and end up canceling coz we needed to go. No communication at all and almost made me feel bad asking on where is our order.
