I understand that there can be third party communication issues with UberEats. I saw the estimate and added 10 minutes to it.
I also ordered late, but 3 hours within stated closing time. I am not the type to be those ones who can see the stores closing in half an hour and then order something.
I google maps the place to see how far the location is.. which was a 3 minute drive. I tried to give Dominos a redemption era. I tried to contact the store. I pressed please send an update on my order.
The order took over an hour to arrive and for it to arrive STONE cold!
You can see how many prawns are on that pizza and how thin the sauce is which is put on the pizza. The percentage off must mean a percentage of the fillings too! There’s like a sprinkle of cheese on the pizza, I can’t even show you a cold mozzarella pull. I am not 100% certain if this is a franchise owner thing or a company wide policy to stinge out as much as possible or if it’s a local “I need to keep my figure”- thing.
If there was a genuine understaffing which I can understand first hand, then this is not aimed at whoever worked that night. You did the best with what you had! This would be aimed at your management team.
I did wait patiently for 30-40mins before I started to wonder where the order was. I checked the app and checked outside every ten mins in case the order didn’t connect to an under driver. I believe I did reasonable troubleshooting on my end. I didn’t really want to drive to the place and go and get it, as that would defeat the purpose of delivery.
I would rather hot food that had taken a while to get here rather than two cokes I do appreciate the gesture but 😩 Dominos what is happening? Cold pizza is the worst it tastes old once it’s cold!
Hot Pizza should be the non negotiable for a place that predominately sells pizza
What exactly did I...
Read moreNo pizza delivered, but that didn’t stop them billing me. I ordered a pizza online for evening delivery. After an hour I enquired when the pizza would be arriving. They claimed that it was late going into the oven, and would be delivered soon. It never arrived. To add insult to injury, they charged my credit card for the pizza and delivery. I tried raising this failed delivery and billing issue twice on Domino’s online website, which promises feedback within 2 days. Nobody bothered responding. I phoned their shop several times. I continually got ‘fobbed-off’ by various staff, saying the manager (Dan) isn’t here (he never appeared to be on the premises). They said that they couldn’t help, but promised to take messages for the manager, and that he would call me back. The manager (Dan) never bothered to call me back, even though I left 3 phone messages. Failing to deliver pizza and charging me is probably a routine mistake, and mistakes can happen when a business is busy. This mistake could have been easily addressed by the business courteously and promptly addressing my raised concerns, and I would have continued being a happy repeat Domino’s customer. However, this Domino’s outlet appears to have appalling lack of regard for customer service, with nobody bothering to contact me back after two website queries and several phone calls. From all my phone calls, I only received repeated failed promises that the manager (Dan), who was never there, would call me back (he never did). I was previously a fan of Domino’s, but Domino’s Ponsonby failed to deliver anything, stole my money, lied to me repeatedly on the phone, and failed to refund me. Order online from Domino’s Ponsonby at...
Read moreYou would have thought that since I'm no longer a student, living on the smell of an oily rag, I wouldn't be ordering from Dominoes. Unfortunately, in this unusual instance, I did.
I'm not really sure where to begin. So I'll start with the website, which only kind of works. Sometimes it lets you add a pizza to the checkout, sometimes it doesn't. Helpful. This was my second chance to abandon ship and order from Hell Pizza, I didn't take it. (first chance was before I even logged on).
After about 15 minutes of trying to order pizza and a side, we finally got though and put the order in (A cheeseburger pizza, pepperoni and"Italian" sausage). We were offered to pay an extra $3 for them to guarantee that the pizza would be there in 20 minutes. I didn't go with it, since I thought that would set a president for it to be rushed, and the quality would drop... to be honest, I may as well have paid the extra $3 because what we received (22 minutes later, might I add) was what I could only describe as three circular slabs of luke warm, stale bread, lovingly coated in 75" of tasteless cheese, and a meat that I would like to say was beef, but could have also been cat food. I ate 3 pieces of pizza, a slice from each one. Only 10 minutes later was I stuck in the bathroom, braced to spend the rest of the night in there.
Overall, I've never hated my life more than that moment. And I have vowed to never, ever,...
