Love returning here when back in Grey Lynn. There are 3 pubs in the centre of the West Lynn area of Grey Lynn and whilst they are all great this is the favourite. A busy locals' bar with excellent wines and guest craft beers and excellent thin based pizza to comply with the licensing regulations that food must be available. The owner Mike may play a tune on the piano and there regular live music evenings. Back in February 2023! Still here and still wonderful. Gorgeous crew. TripAdvisor Torbayaotearoa.🇬🇧🛩🇳🇿

Probably the weirdest jazz session in my experience. Half of the audience are yapping so loud the band obviously has a struggle concentrating. Band tries a louder melody, the yappers start straight up yell over it. The staff doesn't seem to notice and do anything. Couldn't hear any of the bass solos because of yelling. Unfortunately had to leave. Drinks are good though. Also the band seemed to be...

Wow! What a crazy place. Bought tickets for a jazz show and the place was packed to the rafters...and a bit uncomfortably so. Great atmosphere wine and a few beers and cocktails available for purchase. They also did a pizza for the show but it would have been hard to try and eat as we were all so close to each other. The music was the best I heard...
