Farro Grey Lynn — Local services in Waitematā

Went into the Grey Lynn store about two months ago to purchase some cakes. The lady behind the counter promptly using her gloved hand to pick the cake I ordered and straight into the box. I was horrified!! It would have been okay had she not used the same glove she was wearing on anything else such as opening/closing cabinet door, touching the handle, pen, etc. And then with the same glove, touching the food/cake with it. Tried to tell her nicely, she should not be doing that. That is how the germs get transferred. No apology from her, but a reply of "so, do you still want it?" So I said "of course I do not want it". Another staff walked over, then they both rolled their eyes when looking at me. The look on their face, just wasn't nice at all. They both made me feel really uncomfortable. Staff cold, unfriendly. Went all the way to get the in season truffle butter, first staff was unhelpful, asked where I could find them, no clue, asked her colleague, still no idea, told me no fresh truffle butter in store. I said I received the email and also called to confirm before I came. When I found what I was looking for, no apology from this staff, walked away with a shrug off the shoulder reponse: well it's a new product. Jesus christ, this is not what I was expecting from Farro. The entrance driveway to your store runs across a footpath - which means pedestrians take precedence, and not the other way around. So you should consider clearly marking stop signs and give way signs on your entrance driveway, as I witness on a daily basis, many of your clientele almost run down pedestrians because they think that driving a BMW means that the road rules don't apply to them.
