A lovely natural space nestled in the heart of Grey Lynn which was made enough of an impression on The Veils that they even wrote a song about it! Each yeah there is a community festival held here completely free of charge with live music, food trucks and tents, carnival rides and miscellaneous exhibitors from farm animal pens through to old school mechanical machinery. Read moreIt's a massive park situated in Grey Lynn. It has distinctive areas (three I think). To which there was a Rugby club in the middle one, and a toddler's paddling pool at the far end. This was closed when we walked through. However there are plenty of other things for the older children to do. Read moreIt is a wonderful park, lovely fields and Richmond Bulldogs as a club does AMAZING things for the community!! The only downside is Dog Poo, there is a lot of it, in the middle of foot traffic. And it's not nice when there are a lot of kids running amongst the field in barefoot not knowing there are big lumps of Dog poo on the grass. Some parks now are displaying big council signs that say "NO DOGS ALLOWED ON THE FIELD" Perhaps that might be an option for Grey...
