Gogi Korean Kitchen — Restaurant in Waitematā

I recently visited this Gogi Korean Chicken restaurant and was disappointed by the overall experience. The service was lacking-staff, particularly the lady at the counter, came across as rude not only to me but also to other customers. This unwelcoming attitude made the atmosphere uncomfortable and did not reflect the standards expected in the hospitality industry, where customer service is crucial for creating positive guest experiences and encouraging repeat business. As for the food, it was average at best; I’ve had much better Korean fried chicken elsewhere. Given the combination of mediocre food and poor service, it’s not surprising that the restaurant was relatively empty during my visit. Improving customer service should be a priority if they hope to attract and retain more customers in the future, as positive interactions are essential in hospitality and can greatly impact a business’s reputation...

Just ordered the Garlic Soy and the sweet at and spicy korean fried chicken for the first time!

Absolutely satisfying to eat, personally the portion is good enough for one person. Additionally ur getting your moneys worth.

We liked the Garlic Soy more than the sweet and spicy as you could feel the satisfaction of the crunch much more as well as a perfect amount of garlic flavour. Can not recommend this one enough.

On the other hand the Sweet and Spicy is a saucy treat it’s self yet more sweet than spicy, the sweetness does become a bit of an overload, thus a little difficulty finishing. However still recommend.

4 outta 5 stars as the coleslaw is meh. Tbh who really likes coleslaw tho.

Overall if you’re looking for some good Korean Fried Chicken this will satisfy those needs. Tender chicken with a good ratio to crunch, not to forget the fries are a perfect combo. Garlic soy...

Such a few food for the price. I’ve never seen so low quantity and the service also awful. No smile and very rude attitude. If you are hungry, don’t go there!!!

The attendant was SUPER rude since the begging, thats why I left the tray behind. Do you think Id leave my tray like that for no reason?

When I got the meal, and took picture, I havent touched it yet, just took the pic and used the fork to move the chicken to the side so I could show how small the portion was.

Your meal has VERY SMALL PORTION!!!
