Right by the wharf where you can catch the island ferries and the big cruise ships dock sits Te Komititanga Square. It's a huge open space surrounded by old and new buildings. The shops on nearby Queen Street are all the high end stores; Prada, Gucci, LV, Rolex, and the usual variety store selling NZ souvenirs. In the Square, you can watch as buskers perform. It is very entertaining and fun to just sit and take a break. A must see with the Britbox building anchoring the one corner...
