Little Algiers — Restaurant in Waitematā

OK, this gotta be my favourite cafe of Auckland! I came here by accident and I'm so pleased with my decision! The owner of the cafe is super friendly and funny, it made you feel like you went to a friends hole rather than a cafe. The food is so cheap compared to other places in Auckland and tastes so delicious. I ordered the mash potato cake and it comes with a whole half Avo, 2 eggs and 2 thick mesh cakes. I was amazed by the portion vs the price. Can't recommend this...

A wonderful little gem with an enchanting owner! On the last day of my holiday, I came across this little place and walked in because the menu looked very affordable It's a very cute little cafe, the owner is super lovely and friendly and the food (I got the eggs Benedict on a bagel with avocado) was delicious! I popped around to have a look at this spot just on a whim really. It's a small-ish place that looks very unassuming -- really just an old place that is someone's rainshelter??? I was pleasantly surprised to find that this establishment had a very friendly and genuinely joyful owner who provided wonderful service. The food was comforting and homely at a great price.
