The Dough Corner — Restaurant in Waitematā

Tried to go twice, both times the store has been shut even though it’s within their opening hours? First time I messaged their instagram and they said it was technical issues. Fair enough, but a little communication would be great. Either a sign on the door or a instagram post if you’re active on there. Today I went and there is seating and signs placed out front and food in the cabinet but the door is locked and lights are out. No note on the door to say if they are away on lunch or whatever? These are so delicious we took ours home and popped them in the microwave which enhanced their texture and taste! The owner who served us was really lovely and it was good to support a family business who is attentive to their customers. That little interaction goes a long way! Highly recommend you visit this little cookie store the cookies are just scrumptious. Parking is around the area and the store is 200m from Pie Rolla walking towards newton. Little disappointed.. They arrived a day late and looking a bit bashed around.. Possibly couriers fault. But also had a double up of one cookie but missing one of the flavors I ordered. Also with them being a day late they missed the event they were intended for.. So was a little disappointed especially how The dough corner handled it..
