Massey University Gym — Local services in North Island

I’ve never much liked gyms, but this place is very different! The staff is very welcoming and not intimidating is getting set up (thanks Jacob). They helped me adapt my exercises to the equipment they have, even ordering some specialised weights I needed that they didn’t have (thanks Miska). People using the gym have been very respectful of space and sharing equipment, including wiping sweat off after they use it. People aren’t dropping weights or having loud conversations or chatting on their phones.

Unlike a lot of gyms that seem to play the same terrible remixes of pop songs all day long, I find the music at this gym to have much more variety. Kudos to Miska and Brooke specifically for their exquisite musical tastes. When I walk in and see either of them on duty, I know it’s going to be a good day.
