Need to give more cheese for the price. Not on the menu u have to ask for. Same for saute onions, ask for them great value and saute and not done on the grill or hot plate resulting in burned onions. $2.50. ( they call them fried onions ( have to ask for finely cut otherwise they are chunky with the outer skin ) Real extra value 3 cup pot tea including green tea.wilh, milk, trim milk a availabke $2.50. Decore old, tired below average, which is reflected in their prices. Ice cream dessert $1 per scoop. Have to ask for toppings, 50 cents or with apple stewed cinnamon $2.50 you will not find better value anywhere else in Wellington. They use healthy canola oil for deep fries ( which make fantastic fries and deep fried chicken.) not as some other places that use animal fat and vegetable fat. Their chicken pieces not recommended (does not look like chicken wings but boiling cooks. Chicken wings r not that big.Not much chicken on the wings and thighs 😋 ) . French fries perfectly cooked and golden yellow not like some places, reasonsbly except footpath T & chairs and away from Bus stop diesel fumes and picking pigeons. Hygiene standards need to improve. Tables should be wiped more often with the correct cleaning fluids, seating chairs vaccumed cleaned with portable hand held apparatus as chairs r often covered with pastry and other food droppings from eating customers, forks, knives tray should have b covered, same with plates and coffee cups to keep the dust and flies even in winter from them. Staff should wear hygiene hair nets. Chef and staff need to wash hands after handling money and wear disposable hygiene gloves. Sauce tray with a choice of sauces, Lee & perrins sauce, sweet chilli sauce, mint sauce at 50cents extra and 75 cents for the sweet chilli sauce per person. Paper Servettes dispenser should be available and a larger size. Butchers sausages($2 per sauage) as a extra and in their meals would be considerably better than the small finger size processed continental sausage at present on offer. Hot soup and garlic bread should be part of their standard menu including T/As. Filtered coffee made from NZ bottled water would be an advantage and a winner as Wellington's tap water is...
