Unbelievably useless. I went in today and there were three staff members, one behind the counter and two on the floor talking to each other. I came in to look for a specific power supply. I was looking at them for a few minutes and not approached by either staff member on the floor, who were just chatting away and ignoring me. Eventually I went up to the counter and managed to get the attention of the guy behind the counter. He went over and grabbed a power supply off the shelf. It wasn't quite what I needed and I figured it probably wouldn't suit me, so I let him know that I would just leave it for now and see if I could find something more suitable somewhere else. This was after I already told him I didn't think it would work and him trying to convince me otherwise. Nevertheless he went ahead and scanned it anyway, so I had to tell him for a THIRD TIME I did not want the item. I had also gone to buy an audio adapter, which turned out not to work once I had brought it home. At $2.50 it's not really worth taking a trip across town to return it and have to deal with the smug attitude of the staff, but what a nightmare. Absolutely will not...

Everything marked as available was so in the store. The staff was super friendly even after me being there five times in a week and returning stuff and exchanging until everything fit. The absolute best thing was, that I had a problem with my circuit and one of the guys (wish I could remember his name) understood my problem immediately and was able to draw me a circuit diagram as a solution. He also gave me advise on which transistor, diode and resistances to use and it solved the issue I was struggling!!! Thumbs up...

Jaycar - electrical parts and appliances. This shop in particular seems to have rather difficult parking although I don't know if there is a special parking area for customers but it's not obvious. The staff are always good and helpful and they have a vast range of product, which gives you lots of options to choose from. If you're looking to build some of your own electrical equipment then they have a section with thousands of parts that seem enough to build almost anything in my limited knowledge of...
