Wendy's Hamburgers — Restaurant in Wellington

Had a late lunch today at Wendy's at around 2:30ish or so. The place was packed which is fine, a bit of a wait to order but all good, the staff were great and the place is clean. The burgers however were not good nor were the loaded baconator fries. The food came out before I could even collect napkins and ketchup and sit down. So it had to be premade, I had paid perhaps 3 minutes prior to delivery of the food. My 1/4 pound burger felt like it had been on a steam tray for quite some time. The lettuce had been sitting on the warm burger for so long it had gone black and was disintegrating. The burger itself was squashed, mushy and tasteless. The loaded baconator fries were appalling. A sauce that I think is meant to be cheese had been chucked on them, topped with a very sweet, very ''smoky'' flavour second sauce and a few bacon crumbles that tasted odd. Are they even meat? Who knows? Taste and texture was a bit like TVP. My husband's hoki burger while hot was just ordinary (he says the fish burger that we get at our local fish and chip shop is hugely better). The best value was the very large, large drink. I have been eating at Wendy's for 30 years, in Canada where I grew up and here. This was by far and away the worst Wendy's meal I have ever have. We don't eat a lot of fast food, and Wendy's is now off my list permanently. Really, really bad.

Edit to add: I didn't go up and complain to the staff because ultimately I am not going to be giving gyp to someone's teenager who just wants to work their weekend job and go home and chill about what is really a corporate management issue. Again, staff were great, friendly...

I use to look forward to dining at Wendy's in Paraparaumu. Not this time. The manager was overbearing to his staff right in front of the us. Demanding they serve us before we even got to look at the menu. Then the guy that took our order shared his working life story, and asked that we excuse the state of the dining area. So I turned and looked, and the tables were absolutely disgusting. The manager then starts clicking his fingers for our order to be moved on, but I haven't even had the chance to look. So feeling pressured and extremely uncomfortable we place our order, clear our own table, and sit to listen to the manager harping on to his staff. They forget our sauce, my husband goes to get it for me, and they start telling him they'd just come off their breaks. The manager starts clicking his fingers again and yelling at his staff. I didn't check out the facilities, the dining area said it all. Left as quickly as we could. If the manager actually set the pace by going out and clearing tables and cleaning, he'd set a good standard for his team. Not interested in their drama over why someone is late and who's on break - people I don't know you. I just wanted somewhere nice to eat....

My experience at your Paraparaumu store was not satisfying 1 the drink we had large was full of ice three quarters full the chicken breast two pieces was not tasty at all it had bacon in it and not much sauce at all the chips were fine that was my. My son burger chicken breasts with double cheese something like that said the cheese was not very nice he said it tastes horrible His chips was fine they were excellent his drink was three quarters full of ice so really we only got a small drink and for the amount of money we spent between us was about $60 we used to enjoy going to your store but now we change their mind should have went up the road to McDonald's would have been a lot nicer and a lot cheaper but we do not mind spending the extra if it's ok and I will put it on Facebook to tell them how disgusting our experience was disappointed for my birthday teen with my son nevermind we move on and won't be back I hope you get this for to help your store thank you Ron. I have given you a rating of 1 star because I don't know how to work to get the other one star off so you would ended up with no stars this how disappointed I am and I'm definitely putting...
