Very difficult to review a place when it's not a positive experience but I guess with an honest opinion can provide insight to better the establishments in the future eg: customer service, food quality etc where we can enjoy a night out once In a while.

2 star is fair 3 was watering down the true experience we experienced. Firstly we attended on Friday night, quiet not busy. We were greeted and seated. We were given menus and were waiting for orders to be taken. No one attended our table to take orders so we decided to leave after approx 15 - 20mins as the from observing other patrons looked like they had been waiting on meals for quite sometime.

We decided to re try this place the following evening Saturday 14th June. No one greeted us so we seated ourselves. Grabbed our own menus etc.

We managed to get our drinks and food order in as there were 7 of us. Food time was good but the quality of food was a major let down. Pork ribs were over cooked and tasted like it was left over from the lunch time rush or previous evening. The fries were soggy and felt like they had been prep a few hours before and nuked in microwave. The Korean fried chicken was not fried at all. Overall the bill was 300.00. Personally the quality did not meet nor exceed the expectation that reflects the cost of our evening. Disappointed to say we won't be back to visit or try this establishment again. We had people working outside the windows and fitout works going on next door with severe grinding and banging. I myself had to go and ask the workers to stop as we were trying to have dinner.

I should've made a complaint at the time in relation to my experience above but was so over the experience that I just paid the bill and left. I hope in future others have a better experience and...

Ok so the food was good but I felt it wasn't really worth the price. I felt the place tried really hard to become a fine dine but it was more like a pretentious dining. For example the whipped cream on the smoothie was completely unnecessary nullifying the purpose of drinking a smoothie by adding whipped cream to it really lol and just looked more tacky to me and the burger just felt like the flavors were just over the top they could have just used a simple burger bun rather than using brioche(ingredients felt store bought rather than freshly made) bun you know and even the caramelized onion sauce didn't taste cafe style was more like homemade sauce, made by someone amateur. so yeah the food really tried to look that sophisticated and suave but was just average with too much tacky garnishing to make it look fancier than it was. it wasn't bad food again I'll say it didn't taste bad but maybe if they try to make something which is more familiar to them something they grew up eating I guess the place would do really well. also the customer service just felt more chi chi rather than something subtle and professional. so yeah was it worth the price I would say not...

I would skip this place. It was a huge disappointment. We had reserved a table for dinner. We were the only ones dining there that evening. Everyone else was there for an event. Streaming online and conducting a raffle and get this, taking passport pictures for applying for a visa. The ambiance was terrible. We felt so awkward dining there with people sitting around like in a DMV. The service was super slow, We waited well over 30 mins for our meals. The waiter never came around to check on us and we had to go up to the counter several times to enquire about desert and to order it. Also had asked him for boxes to take our leftovers home and he never brought them. He was more focused on looking at his phone. There are better places to eat around New Lynn than an event center for their community. We should have been informed about this when we called to make a reservation....

Upon arriving, we were warmly greeted by the staff who quickly seated us. It was nice to see the Nepalese elements of the food, like in the sauces and spices they use in some of the dishes. It was also good to see many of the simple and classic brunch meals on their menu. We wanted the pork belly hash, but they were out of that at the time. So, we got the smashed avo and the steak sandwich, which we enjoyed. Both the egg and steak were cooked nicely, and I really enjoyed the sauce in the sandwich (I think it was mushroom, a little peppery, but not too overpowering). We also got a matcha latte (smooth and not too sweet) and an Oreo milkshake. The service was very fast, with the drinks coming out not too long after we ordered, and the food coming out in about 15 minutes. The atmosphere is quite simple and tidy, and there is plenty of parking just outside the venue.
