DOCKSIDE — Restaurant in San Juan del Sur (Municipio)

This restaurant is horrible, my family and I came in at 3pm to order drinks and a couple of appetizers. After 30 minutes we finally all got our drinks even though being one of the 2 small parties in the bar. Then at that point the drunk owner came out who decided he wanted to do everything but did not realize he does not have the capability to do anything he was unable to pour a proper beer. After an hour of waiting for our food to come out and receiving nothing we asked for our bill and just wanted to get out of there. At that moment the owner drunkenly stumbled out of the kitchen with the food we had ordered and sat down next to a customer and began to eat the food. Just experienced the best hour of my entire Nica trip so far 🤩. Booked a 60 minute deep tissue & hot stone massage for only $40 with the lovely Estrella. That woman’s got muscle! 💪 But it was talking and laughing in the wind, just watching the clouds roll by that was the peak of enjoyment for me 🌬😌. She and Scarlet and the rest are just wonderful people.

And is no one mentioning the free cocktail token with every massage?! Wasn’t in the mood for alcohol, so Manny at the bar crafted me a custom “smoothie sundae” 😉🍨: pineapple, watermelon, mint, and vanilla ice cream drizzled with honey… Was such a great experience that another girl at the hostel booked the same thing once she heard me talk about it.
