True to reputation, this VI place looked very quaint and authentically Thai. The entrance was covered with flowers and going in I felt like I had stepped out of Lagos and found myself in Bangkok. It all looked very original and I couldn't get a lot of pictures because the place was packed with expats. Actually, I was probably the only Nigerian there that night. They also have a terrace for people who prefer to smoke while they eat.
Talking about eating...I wanted to try as many things on the menu so I could confirm this place was as good as they say. We started with some prawn and mayo spring rolls (I'm Nigerian, we love our rolls! š ). It was pretty basic but the chilli gave it that necessary kick. Then we tried the Khanom jee poo which are basically steamed crab dumplings - put a bit of chilli on them because the sweet chilli dip sauce was too sweet for me. After my struggle dumplings at that 'fine dining' restaurant, I wanted to remind myself what dumplings are supposed to taste like. Fam, it was so good I asked for chopsticks š
For soup we had the Tom yam goong/pla prawn and Tom kha gai chicken which were pretty much variations of the same kinda soup. The chicken had lemon grass though which I wasn't particularly fond of but the coriander in both soups gave it a very nice after taste.
On the main section I really struggled not to have pad Thai. Like that's my go-to at Thai joints but the waitress warned us theirs is usually extra sweet so I decided to pass. I stepped out of my comfort zone and we ordered Pad kra pao nuae/mhoo pork, Gai pad med ma muang, Steamed jasmine rice and Koa pad Kai eggs. We completed the experience by having some Thai Singha beer.
Everything was delicious! I left the restaurant singing šš

They also had different types of seating arrangements: a big room, a single semi-private room and a room with maybe a small family gathering. The soft music in the background adds the pleasantness to the atmosphere. Restaurant is clean and neat. However the seats had crumbs and some stains reasons we changed seats. All the stuff was helpful and cordial. They let us change tables and were interested to fulfill our needs. The lady who took our order showed patience while we decided what we want. She answered our questions nicely. Food came after 38 min. I would say that is a long time for a popular place like this. They should speed up their cooking and serving and not make customers wait like this. Food was awesome. I requested my chicken curry to be extra spicy and it was yummy. It was full of flavor. Masumaan curry was good too. I would expect the beef chunks to be a little more flavorful like the sauce. Still it was good. Cashew nut chicken and the beef was good too. Waiter suggested we order 3 white rice instead of 2. She was right to the point. We gobbled up hungrily. I think curry portion was bigger than the salad. I had to request a to-go box for the spicy chicken curry. It carried the same flavor at dinner time too. Loved the separate bathrooms. They focused on the interior here too. There is a nice Thai boutique inside the restaurant. It had a variety of Thai products. They also had an artificial floral section. I am definitely...

First off, this is Thai restaurant which offers only Thai food. You will see mostly Asians there. If you are not adventurous with culinary leanings, you may want to stick with more familiar places.
This place scores highly on:
Ambience and aesthetics - a plethora or art works, wall paintings, wall paper, greenery, glass walls with nice views, natural lighting and art-themed furnishings.
Menu offerings - albeit almost every meal on the menu was new to me, they have a LOT of options. I am not adventurous with food, thus I did not try any meal. However, I checked out other reviews and virtually everyone testifies that their meals are great.
High value pricing for drinks - awesome! A bottle of Heineken costs N1,400 and you can get cocktails for N3,500.
Accessibility and parking - wide street, convenient parking outside the property.
You can shop for Thai souvenirs within the store.
Service is smooth too. Only negative experience was the poor ergonomics in the male toilet. You have to stand beside - not in front of - the sink to wash your hands, due to spatial/civil constraints.
Otherwise, a lovely exotic restaurant which is competitively priced and highly...
