Chicken Tacos. Soft flour tortillas (like bread used for shawarma) filled with grilled chicken marinated in chipotle sauce & vegetables. It was served with fresh salsas. I enjoyed eating the tacos without the salsas because the chipotle sauce is such a distinct flavor. So when I mixed it with the salsa? It was pretty underwhelming for me. Enchilada Beef. This is shredded beef baked in roasted tomato salsa infused with jalapeño chilies, then topped with cheese & sour cream. This was served with Mexican rice & refried pinto beans.
Now the problem I had with this menu was the non existent corn tortilla to hold the content. So it was just a bowl of sauce rather than being filled into a corn tortilla. Also, the rice that was supposed to be side dish became the main because of the aforementioned concern.
The refried pinto beans had the consistency of mashed potatoes. I thought it tasted smoky & creamy.
The Mexican rice was fluffy, ‘tomatoey’ & had many flavors. This place is such an upscale restaurant/lounge in eko hotel. I thought the space was well planned - dinning area, bar & lounge, nice. I also thought this place would be great vibes at night. The DJ at the time I was there? 🙌🏾

Read moreI recently had the pleasure of visiting the Crossroads restaurant and bar, and I must say, I absolutely loved the vibe of this place! From the moment I stepped in, I could feel the energy and excitement in the air.
The cocktails here were not only delicious but also a bit of a surprise – they really sneak up on you, so my advice is to drink responsibly! But that unexpected kick just added to the fun of the evening.
One thing that truly impressed me was the staff. They were not only friendly and welcoming but also incredibly efficient. Despite a bustling crowd, they managed to handle the whole space like pros, ensuring that no one was left waiting for too long.
All in all, it was a lit night at Crossroads, and I can't wait to go back. The fantastic vibe, mouthwatering cocktails, and the top-notch staff made it an unforgettable experience. If you're looking for a great time out, this place should be at the top...
Read moreI went for a father's day lunch, as my two sons are in a boarding school and my bae is in the UK. So I decided to treat my self. Three bad things...1, they rearranged the restaurant to high density seating ... 2, thier chili sauce is too mild and is served in small portions .. 3, the menu has rose by the glass but if you ask for it they say you should buy a bottle, which isn't on the menu. Lots of good things ... An island for Nigerian Food, another for continental food, another for sweets and fruit, another for bread, and on and on. I had goat pepper soup (watery) and paela and sauces for main dish. They only had a bird as roast, no roast ram or beef (not good). I finished with white (why no black) forest gateaux and some fruit, I was full to burst. I dv will go back when I have...
