Cyclo Spisebar — Restaurant in Bergen

Ate here twice on my 4 day visit to Bergen. The first time was better than the last. Advice? Just stick with the sushi - it nice, although they add too many sauces to it etc..

On the second visit I ordered a Pad Thai and dumplings to accompany my sushi. The dumplings are from a frozen packet, and taste awful and rubbery once steamed; they're tiny too, not worth what you're paying. The Pad Thai was quite an experience; soaked in fish sauce, it was fairly inedible, despite giving it my best attempt (I was starving). I mentioned my minor complaints to the staff who just smiled and agreed with me.

Had a lovely time here, unfortunately there’s construction so the atmosphere was a bit obstructed. I don’t hold that against them because everywhere else it’s clear there’s been an effort to provide a nice experience. Staff spoke English and even had an English menu. It was out of pure luck that I discovered this restaurant and I had very good experience with both the food and the atmosphere.
