calling it the mcDonalds of resturaunts is an insult to mcdonalds. we sat down at a reserved table (my mistake) but it was not clearly market, and when asking to be reseated the server had 'a number' of things to do first. As we needed a table number to place the order that we were already in the process of ordering, this is not okay and creayed a line at the till. fed up with waiting I sat down at a vacant table, but was promptly told I could not sit there because we were only two- as there were serveral unreserved tables- entire sections, vacant, we took a bigger table. the section was still not filled when we left. as the small tables are 50x50 cm, it is tiny. the tables are filthy. all of them. I sat down on the cleanest one. there is food on the couch, along witha serves tray. several servers have been here, none of them has cleaned the table, nor picked up their tray for the entire duration of our stay. at this point i was ready to leave, but i already paid for the food. the dessert arrived first: apple cake was undercooked- entierly made of dough. dinner: the meat is sindged, dry and quite a workload to chew. the baked potato was precooked (which is fine) but wickedly overcooked. the skin was the only this keeping the mash together. sauce and sour cream severely lacking: over all, with the exception of the filling of the baked potato: tasteless. If the exceptionally nice woman at the till was enough to make me come back, I would, but its not, so I wont. The Coke was the best tasting this in this place, but macdonalds...

Subject: Feedback Regarding Repeated Issue with Entrecôte Order
Dear Daglig Leder,
I am a regular guest who often dines at Egon Bristol for late dinners after work. I usually order the 350g Entrecôte, priced at NOK 492.
Unfortunately, this is the second time I have experienced an issue with the portion size. The beef served appeared smaller than expected. I informed the waitress who brought the dish to my table that the portion did not look like 350g. She insisted that it was, but I asked her to kindly verify the weight using a scale.
A few minutes later, a waiter who remembered me from previous visits returned to apologize and confirmed that the dish served was only 250g. He assured me that the head chef would prepare an additional 100g of beef.
While I appreciate the correction, this repeated issue is disappointing. It reflects poorly on the honesty and service standards, especially as it also occurred on 17 May 2025. Guests should not have to raise such concerns after paying for their meal.
For the sake of long-term customer trust and business reputation, I respectfully suggest that you look into...

Our group of 11 ordered at the app or at the upstairs bar and paid before eating. We tried the app but it charged 100 krona instead of 10 krona for upgrade to sweet potato fries We could not add on some sauces on the app so we ordered at the bar. The baked cod with pesto with broccoli and carrots and sweet potato fries was well presented and delicious! The fish and chips with sweet potato fries as a sub. Blackened chicken with toasted potatoes is delicious. The pizza is as good as it is big. Seafood soup is full of seafood in a tasty soup. Yummy. The triangle bread is homemade but we couldn't figure out the red chewy bits in it. Try a refreshing Hugo Spritz or a cider. Service is good and meals came out at different times This cool Vibe in the venue permeates all the small rooms with some accessible tables. The first floor is accessible which includes the bar, order station, and some of the cozy dining rooms. Several rooms require going up and down stairs. Restroom on lower level accessible by stairs The menu is a large ehit card with readable...
