First off, I waited 45, yes, 45 minutes to get mussels and french fries. The server showed me to my table, then proceeded to completely forget about me and attend to the customers who arrived after me, then ignored me while taking all their orders, until finally I had to flag her down and ask to order.

The food didn't take too long to come, but it was overall quite a letdown. First off, I am aware of some shortcuts kitchens do as I have worked in the food sector, and I received a bowl of mussels where 70% of them were cooked to order, and the rest were extra from a previous order thrown in to not "waste food" but ending up completely mushy and over-cooked. I would ALWAYS prefer less mussels that are well cooked, rather than more with over-cooked ones spoiling the taste. The broth was not exciting either.

The worst crime was the french fries. Diabolical... how can fries we freezer-burn dry. They were lukewarm and had no taste or life left in them so I only ate a couple.

For the price (300kr + tip) this is completely disappointing. I have had better food from a food truck for 150kr.

They need to take their customers seriously and not throw in old mussels or cold fries for people paying thirty euros for a nice view and...

I had booked a table several months ago asking for a nice table for my visit. Arriving 15 minutes early, we were led to a table close to the toilet, not my wife’s favourite spot, but the place was packed so no chance of anywhere else. Anyway, we were seated and got a bottle of cold water and glasses, so far so good. But after 30 minutes of no attendance from anyone, other guests had arrived, got their beverages and made orders for food, I had to go to the person in charge and ask why we weren’t served. She excused that we had fallen outside the system due to many customers and promised we now would be prioritised and taken good care of, I found this excuse somewhat unnecessary since the other customers arrived after us. Anyway, after another 15 minutes we got our drinks, and the appetiser on the table at the same time. Not the best combination, but the platter with cheese and hams, olives, homemade aioli was to die for, excellent. My wife ordered clams in moules & frites and I the barbecued dried cod, and both dishes were top notch. In other words, food was impeccable. Why am I not giving 5 stars? Excellent restaurant. Service efficient and friendly. Ate at lunch time and wanted to sample some Norwegian cod, in the traditional way of “ fish & chips”. It was the best I’ve ever eaten , super hot , with crispy coating batter surrounding thick steaks of sweet succulent cod. Served with generous portion of chips. Beautifully presented inside a nice wrapping giving a nod to the newspapers of old. The wine was delicious and I ended with a chocolate mousse desert . Absolutely outstanding. 10/10 from me. It was nice to see outside to the snowy harbour landscape , whilst feeling the warmth and glow from the log fire and flickering candles giving a cosy feel throughout. The bathrooms too need mentioning. Lovely toiletries and again lit candles giving a stylish ambiance. Very nice indeed. Only sorry I am leaving for home tomorrow, otherwise I would be returning...
