I really want to rate this place higher, but we had a terrible experience and my husband's credit card was stolen while there.

When we arrived, it was pouring rain out, and they were the only restaurant open near our accommodations. We walked in and asked if it was possible to seated under the covered patio, as we had our toddler with us and we did not want to disturb other guests. We were understanding when we were told the patio was closed. We asked for a table inside, as only about 25% of the tables were occupied. The hostess said she needed to ask "the boss". She comes back and tells us all the tables were going to be full with reserved guests....mind you, only 25% are currently occupied during "dinner rush" time. We understood and walked out. Another waitress comes to get us outside and says she found a table for us. The entire time we are at the dinner, no more the 25% of the tables were occupied. Our toddler was really well behaved, and as soon as he was done eating, my husband took him outside. We are thankful to our very generous waitress who was kind and offered to serve us. Now here is where things get weird.

There was clearly some drama between the waitresses that night, and two were ganging up on the one who agreed to serve us. My husband, on his way out dropped his credit card out of his rain coat pocket. We did not realize until were back at our accommodations and he could not find it. He immediately locked it on the banking app. We would have gone back in the morning, but we had a ferry to catch before the restaurant opened. 3 days go by and the card attempted to get run again at the restaurant for a charge, we get the text notification and clearly it was still there.

As much as the food was decent, the whole experience was not. I do not recommend going here. Find another nice seafood restaurant where the waitresses are kinder and have integrity, and your accidentally dropped credit card is attempted to be used rather...

Love the atmosphere, welcoming waiters, and excellent services (provided recommendations and constant checking in).

Group of 3 on a Friday night with no reservation, the place was 3/4 full. No waiting required.

Was told that the fish soup, local fish and seafood platter are popular choices.

Fish soup was creamy and great. Highly recommend this dish. Seafood platter includes cooked 1/2lobster, crawfish, scallops, mussels and fresh shrimps. I didn’t like the mussels but the rest was fresh and great! Comes with mashed potato, rich and creamy!! Love it.

Halibut was ok. Nothing fantastic. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Bill came up to around 1600NOK, slightly higher than average price which I find it reasonable at...

So very disappointed by our visit the other night. While the food was very good, the service was abysmal. We waited 90 min between the 1st and 2nd course. My wine glass sat empty for nearly an hour. After nearly 3 hours, my daughter and I left while my husband waited for the 4th of his 5-course meal. He finally left before the final dessert course. At one point I tried to find someone who looked like they were in charge, but it was just a lot of young waitstaff. I hope this was an exception. But so disappointing given the price. We thought at the end the waitress might comp part of the 5 courses since we never received dessert,...
